A record of votes and resolutions of the General Assembly. One interesting subject is a trial of Quaco a former slave who went before the assembly for his freedom. Quaco was a slave of Mr. Honeyman of Newport who was deceased a British officer claimed that Honeyman promised to sell him Quaco before his death when Newport was under British control. Quaco fled and sought protection from the state.
