Affiliate School Program
Member Schools
The Institute invites your school to join the largest network of American-history-focused schools in the country helping to promote cutting-edge, document-based history education. We welcome applications from all schools, rural and urban, public, independent and parochial.
Gilder Lehrman Affiliate Schools will receive:
- Priority access to professional development opportunities, including invitation-only, customized training workshops and the Institute’s summer seminars.
- Free and discounted publications and classroom materials, including posters, books, and resource boxes. Take a tour of our members-only resources by registering for a two-day pass.
- Themed sets of documents reproduced from the Gilder Lehrman Collection, an archive of more than 60,000 rare historic manuscripts.

- Invitation-only access to forums for students led by eminent professors.
