 iew\n 	\n 		This seminar will explore the presiden
 cy of Ronald Reagan and examine both his domestic 
 and foreign policies from 1981 to 1989. Teachers w
 ill discuss the election of 1980 and the conservat
 ive counterrevolution of the 1980s\, as well as ex
 amine Reagan&rsquo\;s foreign policies and domesti
 c programs.&nbsp\; This seminar is offered in part
 nership with The Ronald Reagan Foundation &amp\; P
 residental Library.\n 	\n 		\n 			Readings\n 		\n

 ommodations\n 		\n 			Participants will be housed 
 at California Lutheran University and bused daily 
 to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for clas
 s. California Lutheran University is located in Th
 ousand Oaks\, California\, and is best accessed by
  the&nbsp\;Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
 .\n 		\n 			Workshop participants will be housed i
 n an on-campus dormitory. Participants will be pla
 ced in private rooms\, but may share bathroom faci
 lities. The college provides bedding and towels on
 ly. Please note that participants should plan to b
 ring fans\, alarm clocks\, shampoo\, hangers\, iro
 ns\, hair dryers\, etc. Participants will have acc
 ess to computer clusters\, but many choose to brin
 g laptops. Housekeeping services are provided thro
 ughout the week.\n 	\n 	\n 		\n 			Meals\n 		\n 		
 	Meals will be served in a university cafeteria in
  space shared by other programs. All on-campus mea
 ls will be paid for by the Gilder Lehrman Institut
 e of American History.\n 	\n 	\n 		\n 			Travel Re
 imbursement\n 		\n 			Each summer seminar particip
 ant will receive reimbursement of travel expenses 
 up to $400.&nbsp\;Participants are responsible for
  making their own travel arrangements to and from 
 the seminar.\n 		\n 			Participants traveling inte
 rnationally or from Alaska and Hawaii receive a $5
 00 stipend in lieu of reimbursement upon completio
 n of the seminar.&nbsp\;Applicants to seminars sho
 uld note that supplements will not be given in cas
 es where the $400 allowance is insufficient to cov
 er all travel expenses.&nbsp\;Our reimbursement po
