Seminar participants will work with a range o f primary sources to interpret the shifting social \, economic\, political\, psychological\, and cult ural trauma associated with this set of racial pra ctices. Close attention will be paid to the effect s of Jim Crow on both sides of the color line.\n \n Modeled upon our highly praised Teacher Semin ars\, the course will make advanced credentials an d summer professional development a reality for te achers unable to spend days or weeks away from hom e&mdash\;and those who prefer to study from the co mfort and convenience of home\, or while on the go .
