The Collection Battle Lines: From America's Wars



The United States declared war on Germany and its allies on April 6, 1917. LAURENCE HOPKINS enlisted that same year. Private Hopkins was in Company F, 305th Engineers, American Expeditionary Forces. He was stationed in France in the summer of 1918, the site of major offenses against the Central Powers. He survived combat and returned to the United States in June 1919. Get transcript
