Cosigned by William Sever, John Avery, and Timothy Foster. Witnessed by Alexander Gray and Seth Loring. Agreement in which Sever, Avery, and Foster are bound to Henry Gardner (Treasurer of Massachusetts) in the amount of ten thousand pounds, unless Sever accepts appointment as agent of the Southern District (Massachusetts). As agent to the Southern District, Sever disposed of prizes taken from captured British vessels.
