Co-signed by William Leach, Moses Brown, and Israel Thorndike. Details the distribution of prize monies and cargo from the Brigantine Hope captured by the privateer ship the Pilgrim, commanded by Hugh Hill. Indicates that the estate of John Lovett received from Moses Brown and Israel Thorndike $659 to settle the captors shares and the shares in the Dalton lands. States the money will be given back to the two men on demand when a legal dispute over the shares involving the estate of William Bingham and John Cabot is settled. Lovett was a privateer ship merchant and captain in Beverly, Massachusetts. He was the agent for the prizes captured by the Pilgrim. See similar document GLC01450.006.29.
