Rosa sends her congratulations and a gift of towels to Aaron Jeffery and his bride Maimie [Mary Frances Goodwin] via his sister, Roberta. Also gives an update on many of her family members and acquaintances around Petersburg, asking Roberta Jeffery for information about others in Richmond. Mentions tensions with the Galt family, recommending to Roberta not to write to Mollie Galt again until she replies to her previous letters. "[T]he Galts are a peculiar people. I know Mollie thinks me eccentric but I don't care a picarjune for her opinion...she has an axe to grind." Concludes by repeating her best wishes for the new couple.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
