With short biographical description on verso. Inscription on verso reads: Congressional Medal of Honor, Battle of the Wilderness, May 6, 1864. Brigidier General H.H. Bingham, Postmaster, Philadelphia, Pa. March 1867-December 1872. Resigned when he had been elected Clerk of the Courts - re-elected 1875. Congressman 1873-March 22, 1912, when he died.
