Clerical copy. George W. Edgar, Lieutenant Colonel commanding the outpost in West Virginia writes to Brigadier General Scammon of the 23rd Ohio to report that he is sending a Mrs. Dr. Lucker with a flag of truce to Scammon's lines. She is to pass by order of Major General Jones. With clerical note by Colonel Hayes stating that the lady arrived at the outpost and will leave in the morning.
