Survey Board report by McMullin as Captain, 1st Battery, Ohio Artillery; William H. Zimmerman, Captain Co. E, 23rd regiment Ohio; and William H. Harlan, Captain, Co. G, 30th regiment, Ohio. According to special orders no. 70, lists the damages done to Cassady's property on the Laurel Creek by U.S. troops. Also gives costs for repair of the grist mill. Autograph endorsement signed by Colonel Eliakim P. Scammon 23rd Ohio regiment approving the payment for the destruction.
