Later copy of the original letter made on 1 June 1858. Discusses being courted by Captain John Linzee, and her aunt interfering with their being able to see each other. Seeks advice from her friend Lucy, who became Lucy Knox in 1774. Inman married Linzee on 1 September 1772. A biographical note about Inman appears on the bottom and explains the letters' significance to the Linzee family.
