Asks about a list of books he requested from Knox. Knox has indicated that some of the books are scarce but said nothing of the others. He wonders if Knox lost the list, since he made the request a year ago. Oliver wrote a similar letter on 7 March 1774 (see GLC02437.00124). Oliver one of the founders of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a member of the American Philosophical Society.
