Pages 1-3 are written in the hand of Samuel Shaw, Knox's aide-de-camp. Final page is written and signed twice by Brigadier General Knox. Docket notes "Articles order'd from Boston and Springfield 2 & 3 June 1781." Knox's notes pertain to the delivery of military stores.
