Written from Salem, possibly in Massachusetts. Writes, "I have performed as punctualy [sic] as I was able what you required of me, and do accompany the receipts with my warmest gratitude, my obscure life will assist but little to increase your fame, but as your generous kindness proves you good as well as great you will be content that the obligation is written on my Heart.
