Rynier is disappointed that Knox has not discharged Rynier's notes in nearly ninety days. Rynier writes, "And I have been called upon to fullfill and discharge my notes, by your disappointing me, I have not been enabled to do it." Rynier has to pay James Swan. Rynier does not want to be foreman of at Knox's St. Georges estate. He remembers the disagreement over management of Knox's Brigadier Island.
