Davis tells Knox about the progress he is making in his negotiations over Knox's land. In a postscript, Davis tells Knox he received his letter of October 20 (GLC02437.07319). Davis says, "I have been offered what the Duck pond lands were sold at auction for and hope to be able to send you teh whoe fo the purchase money as soon as the power of attny is returned executed."
