Discusses daily life and happenings at camp. Mentions [Brigadier General James W.] McMillan inspected their camp last Sunday and "Put several privates under arrest and I think reduced some Corporal to the ranks." Lists several promotions that have happened recently. There is a very short note at the end of the letter, written by P. Coleman which states that he hopes he is in good spirits.
