Writes to wife updating her on James, possibly a neighbor or friend from home, who is still sick. Asks that she write him more letters. Inquires how all the widows are getting on and tells her that "misary loves company and you must comfort each other when you can..." Not addressed to his wife, but inferred from content. Letter incomplete and unsigned.
