Leslie explains how the publisher and news company chain of command works. Sends Cripps a copy of his and the American News Co.'s news circulars (not included). Signed "Frank Leslie per J.S. Thrasher." Written on Oficinas de las Publicaciones de Frank Leslie letterhead, advertising his publication, Ilustracion. Company envelope is postmarked 29 June, Habana, and includes two ten-cent stamps reading "Ultramar" and depicting a crowned woman.
