Retaliates against Bronson, former chief justice of the Supreme Court, who depicted Smith as an example of misconduct in a letter to Mr. Delevan. Discusses the political opinions of Myron Holley Clark, a candidate for Governor (Clark was Governor of New York 1855-1857).
