A print of a photograph showing two groups of men posed near a sutlers cabin. The foremost group appears to be officers conversing. The second group stands near the sutlers counter and faces the camera. The sign on the store reads: "A. Foulke Sutler 1st Brigade Hse Arty." Verso notations: "Ordway Gardner Coll." "XI" "164." Published in Photographic History of the Civil War, 4: 247 (1st part of book). This image belongs to a set of three and is second in that series.
