A print of a photograph of the field hospital at Brandy Station, VA. The image shows a camp consisting of rough cabins with tents stretched over them as roofs lining either side of the image. The soldiers are posed in front of the structures. Note the woman standing with soldiers on the right hand side of the image. Heavily wooded area. Graphite inscription on verso: "Gardner XI 632."
