Written as a P.S. enclosing a prayer book for his God Son, adding that he cannot not think of a more appropriate Christmas gift. In an additional P.S., Hastings writes that the prayer book will not be acceptable in the United States, because it is British and offers prayers for the Royal Family. He asks what his God Son would like to have. Signed "Hastings Doyle."
