Portrait of General Albert Ordway in dress uniform with four medals. Based on the uniform, the photograph appears to have been taken during Ordway's time as the Commanding General of the District of Columbia National Guard. Ordway became Commanding General in 1887 and continued in that role until his death in 1897. There is some discoloration at the bottom of the photograph, as well as some along the edges.
