Black and white map ranging from Missouri to Maryland in the north and Louisiana to Georgia in the south. Sherman's routes are outlined in red, blue, green, yellow and brown. Compiled according to Sherman's order by Brevet Major W.L.B Jenney, and drawn by Captain William Kossak, Addl. A.D.C. U.S.A., and John B. Muller, draughtsman. Engraved by H.C. Evans and F. Courtenay. Printed in St. Louis by Joseph F. Gedney. and signed by Sherman in pencil: "With compliments of W.T. Sherman" on 21 September 1868.
