One letter from Robert A. Winemiller to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated December 30, 1942. Robert is glad Leonard had a good time in Chicago. He received pictures of a woman he has been in contact with but hasn't opened it because he is worried what she will look like. Robert had seven teeth filled at the dentist. He plans to submit his application in for OCS in January. His unit marched eleven miles the day prior. He is gaining weight slowly and hopes to be at 160lbs. Signed as "Fuzzy." - The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
