One letter from Eddie Zell to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated December 8, 1943. Eddie writes that he received Leonard’s letter. He has been playing a lot of basketball, dancing, and working. He will tell Janet Hall to write Leonard the next time he sees her. He sent the last five dollars he owed to Bob Garrison in California. He was very impressed by the Great Lakes Notre Dame game, it was the first game that he didn’t bet on Notre Dame.
