One newspaper clipping from Great Lakes Bulletin dated January 16, 1944. Clipping contains a view of a ship that is nearly ready to be commissioned as a training model. The full scale replica of a ship's forward section will be used by the sailors at Great Lakes that are training to be signalmen and quartermasters. According to Leonard's letter (GLC09611.225.01) the building behind the ship is where he has mechanical drawing classes.
