One letter from Leonard Eugene Graeff to Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff dated October 20, 1944. He received the bracelet and loves it. He has enclosed a money order for $100. $40 is for Susan and Raymond for Christmas and the rest is for his savings account. He declares that he can’t find them a Christmas gift, and wants them to use the money for something they want for the house or themselves. He’s getting really excited for the boxes and packages that she keeps telling him about and can’t wait for Christmas now. The radio has been playing baseball games at 9:30 in the morning and he finds it weird to listen to them so early. He received a letter from Margurite Graeff with a photo of her and her husband that he will send along in the next letter. He also received letters from Bertha Hutton, Jo Gassert and Orsyulak. He inquires if they have finished the most recent roll of film. If they haven't he requests a photo of Joe and Arvilla Good. He also mentions Helen Peters, Ed Zell and June Walter.
