One letter from Paul H. Wangsness to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated July 25, 1974. Wangsness supports the impeachment of President Nixon and notes that the "framers of the constitution" would not approve of Nixon's actions. He writes, "To say that the framers of the Constitution would condone such actions and abuses of power - by saying that impeachment is for crimes such as petty larceny or more serious - would be ludicrous"
