One letter addressed to Joyce Robinson from Richard J. DiChristina dated June 15, 1969. He writes that he is a "CQ Runner" and is responsible for passing messages at Fort Dix. He will be returning home on the fourth week of his training. He writes from an office and will be going to KP (kitchen police/mess hall duty) at seven pm for overnight duty. He outlines his general orders including guarding his post, obeying special orders, and reporting violations. He concludes with an attestation that he is "an American fighting man...prepared to give my life...." It is raining, and his letter has been slightly dampened by the raindrops.
