One photograph by Drennan Photo Service dated OCtober 29, 1956. Shows three men in military uniform inspecting a dropped wing tank. According to the attached press release First Lieutenant Allan H. Lancaster landed a F-86-F Sabre Jet at Mitchell Air Force Base after an electrical fire caused both wing tanks to be dropped. The wing tanks landed in the yard of Ned Schemaille in Hewlett, New York. Schemaille, a dentist, called the 5th Precinct Nassau County police. A crew from the air field came and removed the tank.
