One letter from Joel L. Farrow to Glover M. Farrow, Doris Kitchens Farrow, and Wayne Farrow dated August 18, 1958. Joel updates his family his service and some dental work. He mentions a carnival in the nearby town and the prizes he won. He also hopes to be able to come home for a visit. There are planes on his base that are being sent to Georgia to the Lockheed factory for modification. As per regulation if he has enough money for a round trip commercial flight he can instead get a seat on a plane going to the factory for free. He will let them know if it is possible closer to the date.
