Discussion

could be great to try and use for how to break down a primary source and to try to detect the nature of early colonization in VA

This text would be very complex for middle school, but worthwhile I believe.

This is an outstanding document to use with Middle School Honors students.
A teacher can use the DBQ method to create manageable parts of the document for analysis discussion and extended thinking activities.

This is a great document to read to my 5th grade students as supplement to the DBQ project Mini-Q on Jamestown.
