Gilder Lehrman Institute (GLI) Information on Bequests

To continue GLI’s work throughout the country, GLI welcomes donors to remember the Institute in their estate plans. Such support will help to maintain the Institute’s important history-centered programs for middle and high school teachers into the future. Please consider remembering GLI in your will or living trust. And, if you have already named GLI in your estate planning, we thank you and would be pleased to acknowledge your generosity.

For further information about naming GLI in your will, please contact: Mary Caslin Ross, Executive Consultant, at development@gilderlehrman.org or (646) 366-9666 x27.

The Institute is a tax-exempt organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Institute has notified the IRS of its intention to convert to a public charity, and the IRS has determined that grantors and donors may treat the Institute as a public charity for purposes of charitable deductions and qualifying distributions.
