The Institute is a tax-exempt organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Institute has notified the IRS of its intention to convert to a public charity, and the IRS has determined that grantors and donors may treat the Institute as a public charity for purposes of charitable deductions and qualifying distributions.
