One letter from Mr. and Mrs. Bert Dewhurst to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated October 22, 1973. The Dewhursts are against the impeachment of President Nixon and write, "It is our feeling, because of the recent happenings in Washington D. C versus the President's actions, the people of America are being whipped into a frenzy of hate that is typical of the mobs that crucified Christ - 'Crying Impeachment'. . . In the heat of this big pot of stew we hope the 'country's enemies' are not sneaking in their fatal potion of poison - Divide + Conquer."
