Columbus State University’s History & Geography Department will host an event with noted non-fiction author T. K. Thorne as part of its Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle public programming series. Ms. Thorne will discuss her new book, Last Chance for Justice: How Relentless Investigators Uncovered New Evidence Convicting the Birmingham Church Bombers.
This event is free and open to the public. Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle is funded in part by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, as part of its Bridging Cultures initiative, in partnership with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
