The 2012 Iowa History Teacher of the Year Award will be presented to Monte DeArmoun of Northwood-Kensett Junior/Senior High School in Northwood, IA. Mr. DeArmoun will receive his award at the Outstanding Iowa Teachers Recognition Luncheon. The Iowa History Teacher of the Year Award is coordinated by the Iowa Department of Education.
