Screening and Discussion of "Freedom Riders" at Richard Stockton College Campus Center Theater

The Richard Stockton College Campus Center Theater, supported by the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, will host a screening and public discussion of the film Freedom Riders. Following the film screening, there will be a moderated public conversation about the humanities themes featured in the film. Wayne Glasker, Associate Professor of History at Rutgers-Camden, will moderate this discussion. This event is part of New Jersey Council for the Humanities’ Created Equal: Americas Civil Rights Struggle public programming series.

This event is free and open to the public. Created Equal: Americas Civil Rights Struggle was made possible, in part, by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, as part of its Bridging Cultures initiative, in partnership with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
