Autograph letter signed
Title: to Leonard Eugene Graeff
One letter from Robert A. Winemiller to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated March 8, 1943. Robert begins by noting Leonard's chivalrous nature. He notes a recent trip to Chattanooga. In reference to a remark made by Leonard about Robert and Dotty, he says "You needn't worry about my losing 'Dotty.' I wont, she'll come back, she always did! Confident aren't I? But I'd better cleanse the attitude I had before." Robert wants them to go on double dates with Leonard and his love interest. Robert is optimistic about Leonard and a woman Jeanne. His unit just completed a two day maneuver. And he is not looking forward to the "thirty day one." He mentions one outing that was particularly tough because of a lack of food and it being concluded after members of the unit were hospitalized. Signed "Fuzzy."
