Lists saddlery supply orders of General Cholmondeley (1767) and Lieut. Gen. Elliot (1767-71), and their respective staffs. Also included some loose papers slipped in the leaves. Inside the front cover is: an inventory from a saddler and coach and harness maker, an inventory of furniture dated June 1771 signed by William Maslist and James Baker, and inventory for Elliot dated September 1771, and two short notes. Records Franklin's testimony before the House of Commons concerning American grievances about the Stamp Act, internal levies, the debts from the French and Indian War, costs and origins of that war, American manufactures, and American sentiments towards Britain and Parliament.
