Written in French. Previously cataloged as being to Rudolph Tillier, a land agent. Possibly discusses the land that is now Lewis County, New York. Place written is illegible.

Morris was a signer of the Constitution from Pennsylvania and a Federalist senator from New York who served from 1800-1803. Chassanis purchased land that is now Lewis County, New York in 1792. Tillier was the first land agent and was superceded by Morris in 1800.
