[Draft Created by Crowdsourcing]
(1) I wandered today to the Hill, Maggie.
To watch the scene below
The [curls] & the creaking old mill, Maggie
As we used to, long-a-go.
The green [grass] is gone from the hill, Maggie
When first the daisies sprung
The creak-ing old mill is still Maggie,
Since you & I were young.

[2]
(2) They say I am feeble with age, Maggie
My steps are less sprightly then
My face is a well written page Maggie
But mine alone was the [few].
And now we are aged and gray Maggie
The trials of life nearly done
Let us sing of the days that are gone Maggie
When you & I were young.

Noyes, Thomas, 1754-1819
