At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. Summary of Content: Shaw, Knox's aide-de-camp, pays Lary "for two months wages while in Genl Knox's Family and six dollars in full for washing Mr. Wm Knoxs cloathes." Lary signs again, certifying receipt of six dollars for washing Captain Treat's clothes. Signed twice by Mary Lary.
