Partially printed. Certificate to pay [Jeremiah] Wadsworth and [John] Carter, of Wadsworth & Carter, who furnished supplies to General Rochambeau's army. Note in English on verso signed by Wadsworth & Carter states: "Pay the contents to Mr. William Knox on order." Verso also contains the signature of Oliver Smith.
