Instructs Blanchard to relieve Captain Taylor's men at the east side of the River and from General McDougall. Advises Blanchard that Captain Taylor has written instructions for the governance and safety of the posts. Knox writes that Blanchard is not expected to have the same amount of sentries as prescribed in the instructions, as one sentry per work will be sufficient.
