Informs Knox of a violent storm that knocked down tents for the wood cutters. Mentions sending people to Kings Ferry to look for wood and thanks Knox for granting them permission to cut wood in the surrounding area.

The violent Storm has prevented lieut. Wells's guard returning till this morning, as well as the sending down the tents and axes for the wood cutters.
To-morrow I shall send an assistant towards Kings ferry to find a place where the garrisons there many provide themselves with wood.
I thank you for the men granted to cut wood for this post.
