Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Discusses a contract stating the boundaries of a tract land in the Ohio valley region between the Board of Treasury and Manasseh Cutler. Also that another tract be reserved for a city and common land in the Ohio valley region. Noted that the meeting was held at the Bunch of Grapes Tavern Boston, Massachusetts. Originally included with GLC02437.03651. Docket in Knox's hand.
