At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. Presents a proposal for Knox to relinquish to Duer "his Right in the Pre Emption of Two million acres of land made of the State of Massachusetts of by Henry Jackson and Royal Flint..."
